Want to tour the Finger Lakes?

Ride through pristine countryside stopping along the way at waterfalls, wineries, B&B's, and pubs all with the distinct character of the Finger Lakes. Utilizing the back roads network, we can travel for hundreds of miles without hitting major traffic or seeing another cyclist. Let us take you off the beaten path so you can experience the region from a local perspective.

Mind getting dirty?

Flow across the Finger Lakes on more rugged terrain, and experience the single track and back roads that make this area unforgettable. Options range from beginner mountain bike parks to technical race courses, one hour loops to all day epics, rough seasonal roads to desolate rail to trails. No matter what the weather, we can find a trail system that is good to ride. Here are a few examples of what the region has to offer:

Letchworth Loop: This is one of the most challenging and beautiful rides in the area. Following the rim of the Genesee River gorge, it is an excellent mix of park roads, double track, and tons of single track. Regularly offering vistas of plunging waterfalls and steep cliff faces, this ride progressively gets more difficult. The last 22 miles are all on single track that becomes a relentless technical challenge. This ride is a heavy hitter offering 11,000ft of climbing in just 44 miles.

Birdseye Hollow: Located east of Hammondsport, NY, it offers a flowing 22 mile out and back journey through classic Finger Lakes single track. It is rare to see another person, let alone cyclist, as you twist through stands of hardwoods, pines, and ruins of old homesteads and cemeteries hidden under the forest canopy. If you want to ride a little longer, we can start this ride in the Village of Hammondsport on the shores of Keuka Lake to add 20 extra miles of dirt roads and single track.

Shindagain Hollow - Hammond Hill: This area is located east of Ithaca, NY, where you can spend all day ripping miles of flowing single track through heavily forested hills and hollows. Utilizing back roads, we can connect two large tracts of state lands to get 50+ mile days. Shindagain has many interesting man-made features that are easily ridden on a cross country setup. One of the best aspects of this area is that it can be ridden in the wettest of conditions due to excellent trail construction and drainage.

Naples 60: This ride covers the area's most dramatic terrain and technical single track by linking several trail networks into one ride. Climbing over ski resorts, sweeping past hang glider jump-offs, riding through the Hardcore 24hr race course (www.thehardcore24.com) and plummeting down miles of twisting trail makes for a full day epic. Rarely do we make it through without a mechanical or spectacular crash. After the ride we usually soak in the clear waters of Naples Creek before heading into town to replenish our bodies and minds.
