Reaching new heights on two wheels

To All at Pedaling Productions:
Nice job on putting on a memorable inaugural race. The website was the most
insightful race promotion site I have seen(video, topo, riding script...). The "day
of" organization was very smooth. The moto pace bike was nice and the roll out got everyone warmed up nicely. The trails were marked pretty good, especially for 3 race courses (53 miles of trail)! Having 3 courses to choose from based on skill,
encouraged my wife to race after watching on the sidelines for 15 years. I also felt comfortable letting my 13 (8 mile) and 15 (15 mile) year old sons ride solo. The 30
mile course was killer which explains my slow assent up the stairs and my inability
to sit on hard surfaces. Race results were immediate and straight forward. The
award ceremony was on time, well choreographed, the wooden metals were special and
the swag fest was raging!
So often the attitude of the people running the race make the race a success. From the start of the race promotion to the final ceremony you could not help feeling a good vibe. Which was evidenced by the 120 racers who showed up and by the cheer of the large crowd at the awards.
This will be a Spring Classic in my books. For those that did race I trust you will all agree. For those who did not make it, plan on it next year. For us race promoters, we need to take some notes.
Congratulations again to Casey, Val, Mark, Suzanne and the rest of the Pedaling Productions Team.
Thanks for hosting an Awesome Race!

"What a great race. My first of this type. I confess, I'm a roadie who does
cyclocross, so this was a little foreign to me. I had a ball, got a great workout, did
some great climbing and some hair-raising descents in your beautiful area. Thanks
for all it took to create this in a friendly atmosphere. I'll be back next year with
a crazy friend or two. " Tim Leonard 50+++, Rambler Rider 2008
"I was really impressed with the course, organization of the event, and the overall welcome feeling you guys portrayed." Jesse Sauders, Rambler Rider 2008
