Rambler 15 mile Course Description
Start: Race begins along east side of the Village Square with a neutral start for 1 mile.
Turn RIGHT onto Lovers Lane, which is an abandoned tree lined road splitting two open fields. Take this for .5miles and then turn Left onto Fair Grounds Road.
Ride the narrow paved lane for ¼ mile and turn Right onto Prattsburgh-Italy Rd which is a rough, two lane paved road.
For the next 1.5miles you will be climbing a very gentle rise till you turn Right onto Tuttle Rd, the next 3 miles will all be on dirt roads. Tuttle is a wide, smooth lane that passes over 5mile creek and runs up a picturesque county valley complete with old farmsteads. Soon you will hit Sturdevent Rd., go Straight as the road narrows to one lane and becomes seasonal.
After .5 mile you will come to a T, turn Right onto Sweeny-Ford Rd, here you will begin the first major climb of the race. Sporting several turns, a few steep sections, and over 200ft of vertical in a mile, Sweeny will get your heart rate up.
Go Straight through the Bauchman Rd intersection and continue on Ford Rd for .5miles then turn Right onto Glades Corner Rd.
Ride .5miles until reaching a T. Turn Left onto the narrow, two lane Glodes/Browns Corners Rd. After ¾ of a mile turn Right onto Gay Rd where pavement turns to dirt as you head south through open fields, past a working farm, and up a short tree lined climb. Ride 1.3 miles to the intersection of Armstrong Rd, Watch for traffic as you go Straight and continue down Gay Rd.
Here Gay Rd turns from seasonal to a wide dirt road. Ride for ¾ mile to a T intersection. Turn Right onto Brown Rd, take the narrow paved Brown Rd for .5miles and then turn Left, back onto Glodes Corners dirt road.
Travel south on Glodes Rd for 1mile before turning Right onto Stone Rd.
Stone Rd is a narrow, packed oiled and stone surfaced road that you will descend 150 of vert in 1.5miles to the intersection of Town Line Rd.
Using caution, cross the intersection and continue Straight onto Williams Rd. Here you will face the hardest climb of the race! After a short descent you will round a corner and face the Wall, which climbs 220ft in ¾ of a mile. You can find comfort in knowing that this will be the last big climb.
Descend for over a mile until you hit the T intersection of the Glodes/Browns Corners Rd take a Left.
Climb a small rise to another T intersection of the Prattsburgh-Pultney Rd, take a Right and follow the signs to the finish line.
