8 Mile Course Description

Start: Race begins along east side of the Village Square with a neutral start for 1 mile.

Turn RIGHT onto Lovers Lane, which is an abandoned tree lined road splitting two open fields. Take this for .5 miles and then turn Left onto Fair Grounds Road.

Ride the narrow paved lane for ¼ mile and turn Right onto Prattsburgh-Italy Road which is a rough, two lane paved road.

For the next 1.5 miles you will be climbing a very gentle rise till you turn Right onto Tuttle Road. The next 3 miles will all be on dirt roads. Tuttle is a wide, smooth lane that passes over 5 mile creek and runs up a picturesque country valley complete with old farmsteads.

Bear Right and continue on Tuttle up the only major climb of the race. This climb never gets too steep as it winds its way up 350 feet of vertical in 1.5 miles.

Once on top, the course levels out on a smooth dirt lane and heads south until running into pavement on Glodes/Browns Corners Road. Go Straight.

After a little under 1 mile you will come up on a 4-way intersection. Bear Right and continue on the narrow, paved Glodes/Browns Corners Road.

Soon you will begin a 1.5 mile descent back into the scenic Prattsburgh Valley. Once the road ends at a T intersection turn Right onto Prattsburgh-Pultney Road which soon turns into Mechanic Street.

At the top of the gentle climb back into town you will turn Right onto N. Main Street and sprint to the finish line!
